It is with extreme sadness that I announce the passing of our much valued club member Nicole Noal nee Boyce.
This post is a bit of a personal one as I have know Nicole for more the 3 quarters of my life.
Nicole was a much valued member of Cambridge Park Netball Club for many many years from juniors right through to seniors even when moving away while studying to become a police office and even travelling from Camden every week the past couple of years to still play for Cambridge Park.
Nicole was such a fighter. Even when life threw her every curve ball, she still took on the challenge head on. Even right till the end.
She was the most kind heart gentle selfless person I have ever met. So much so that when she was diagnosed the 2nd time round she apologised to me because it meant I was going to lose a 2nd childhood friend in less then 2 years. But that summed up Nic. Always thinking of others first.
Nicole your determination, kind heart, loving soul and every other word that one can describe you will be missed truly and deeply. The world has lost another beautiful soul and will never be the same.
You will always be remembered and will always be missed.
Much love, thoughts and prayers to the Boyce and Noal family during this time. Not only myself but also the club will always be there for you.
At the end of last year we launched Senior Constable Nicole Noal‘s fundraising page.
There was an enormous and heartfelt outpouring of support for this strong and generous individual going through such a momentous time, and we thank you all for that
Her colleagues and friends have now organised a Fundraising Dinner for Friday 28 March at The Cube in Campbelltown, and everyone is invited.
In June 2021, Nicole was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. She commenced medical treatment and underwent several medical procedures including invasive surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.
In March 2022, Nicole responded positively to surgery by entering remission.
Unfortunately, on 27th November 2024, Nicole received the devastating news that bowel cancer returned. This cancer is incurable. She was informed her life expectancy is 12 months. Nicole will be undergoing chemotherapy in the coming months. It will hopefully extend her life expectancy and assist with pain management.
All profits will go towards Nicole and her family with the mounting medical bills.
Dress for this special night is Cocktail / Semi Formal.
It’s never a good time for bad news, but it hits even harder at such a family time of the year.
Senior Constable Nicole Noal has been a serving NSW Police Force officer for 13 years, and with her husband (also a NSWPF officer), is raising two young daughters.
Having faced bowel cancer several years ago, Nicole was recently given the news that it had returned, in an inoperable fashion.
She has been given 12 months to live.
Her colleagues have organised a fundraiser to help with the medical financial burden, as Nicole remains determined to create lasting memories with her family while she is able to.
