My deepest condolences to Bruces’ daughters, family and friends.
You were respected and a great bloke to work with on the truck whilst working GDs at Wollongong back in the 1980s.
And you loved your aluminium tea pot.

There was never a finer man than Bruce Cusworth, thorough gentlemen, sadly missed.
Upon retirement Bruce Joined the NSW Rural Fire Service, Wollongong Headquarters Brigade for several years.
Known “Cussy” since August,1960, the day I joined the Cadets, he was a Probationary Constable and we were both stationed at Darlinghurst. Bruce was transferred to Wollongong, I am guessing in about late 1961 and he had nowhere to live so I asked my mother if Cussy could come and live with her, my sister and grandmother at Woonona, she agreed and Bruce was happy to join the family. So i guess you say he was like an adopted brother. So many good memories and stories I could tell. As I recall Bruce didn’t leave our place until he got married. We worked together quite a few times over the years and really had some really good times. Good bye to a good bloke who beat the crap out of me at squash and deepest sympathy to Jennifer and their families for their heartbreaking loss.
Farewell Bruce. Great days at the old Wollongong Police Station, “Choir Practice”, checque cashing ceremonies at the Master Builders, CARDS and your favourite saying “Insufferable Prick”! Cheers.
Bruce was my sergeant when I was a pro at Wollongong. What a great man. Steady as she goes. Cup of tea then off to work.
