Jim was certainly stationed at Redfern around 1974 – 1975 as he and another officer I also knew later in his life would arrive at my Uncles business at Cleveland Street Redfern to remove drunks from the doorway after I had called the Policed Station so that we could open up the business. At the time I remember being on a Provisional Licence. I worked with Jim and the other officer more than twenty years later when they were both retired gentlemen.
